Dear friends, it's with mixed feelings that we announce that Star Station is now under new management. Ellen Brooks and I have enjoyed the seven years we've spent here at Star Station in the heart of Music Row. We have the most wonderful customers neighbors and friends in the entire world. We'll miss seeing you every day, but promise to keep in touch. Please keep us updated on your activities. We'll continue to receive our mail at Nine Music Square South and will have the same e-mail address: starplace @aol.com. Ellen and I plan to take a vacation before returning to continue working at other music industry related projects. More on that at a later date.
The new owner is Judy Turner. The office will be managed by her daughter Jennifer Moore. We know we leave you in good hands. We think you'll find them friendly and helpful and willing to carry on the mission of Star Station - that is to be a nurturing, helpful environment for all our Star Station "stars."

PASSAGES
WEDDING BELLS -- Mark DeLong and Melissa Ann Greene were married in a garden wedding on September 27th following by a celebration of the event with friends and relatives . . . Anne Marie Hunter sent photos from her recent wedding in Kansas. She and her groom left the ceremony astride a Harley -- appropriate since photographer Anne Marie's work appears in the Harley Davidson Museum.
GOOD THINGS CAN HAPPEN ON SEPTEMBER 11TH -- That's when Bob August and his wife Tanja welcomed daughter Abigale at Vanderbilt Hospital. On that same day Doug Miller and wife welcomed daughter Olivia Fraley Miller at Baptist Hospital. Welcome to our world, baby girls!
CONDOLENCES -- to singer/songwriter Kaci Brown on the passing of her beloved grandmother in Texas.
Talk on the Row
It's like something out of a horror movie!
It's beautiful.
That thing has nothing to do with what Music Row is known for worldwide -- and that's country music. Why not have Roy Acuff and Johnny Cash up there?
Finally we have some culture here.
Down at the other end of Demonbruen, there are adult clubs with unclothed dancers. Maybe it's some sort of advertisement for them.
As you can see from the quotes above, there is a wide variance of opinion about "Musica" the sculpture of a group of nude dancing male and female figures at the Roundabout. As of this printing, it's shrouded in dark fabric, but will be unveiled soon -- just in time for Halloween.
